11 boats entered with the first day of fishing cancelled due to weather.

Day 2 the weather improved slightly but it was sloppy conditions, with the occasional rain squall, that greeted competitors. And unfortunately for the tournament there were no scoring fish tagged or captured.

A great effort to everyone who fish the conditions with a special mention to junior female Bree Thomsen who fought a blue marlin on heavy tackle for just over an hour with the fish unfortunately winning its freedom. Bad luck Bree!
