Congratulations to the team on board Capt. Matty Johnson’s Gypsy who took out the Gold Coast Game Fish Club’s annual Light Tackle Masters on the weekend with 4 tags. Matty said that after being postponed for a week due to the weather, the conditions were ‘moderate’ all weekend “20kts, some call it rough, you guys in Cairns call it a glass out!” :-)

22 boats fished the tournament including 6 junior, 3 female anglers in a total of 88 entrants.
And over the three days there were 46 tags, 86 hook-ups and 108 strikes with 21 of the tags being marlin.
