It was a quiet weekend for billfishing for much of the east coast with the weather ruining the party. I had just the one report from Friday on the Sunshine Coast before the weather set in.

Paddy Diamond’s Catapult with Paddy and Lachlan on board had a great day on the water off Mooloolaba. They ended the day 14-14-10 tagging 8 sails and two black marlin with 3 double hook ups in the mix. Lachlan also recorded a personal best with an approx 40kg sail on 4kg lines (pictured on board) which was released after being measured.  Nice one!
