I said the conditions were right for the marlin to show up any day now, and they have! Yesterday there were reports of a few big fish in the middle Ribbons off Cooktown including on Calypso with Capt. Tim Dean. Tim reports two fish – one at 900lbs+ and the other 100lbs+ for his anglers John Poole (900) and Richard Rocchi.  Tim also said they are enjoying a great trip on the reef. Wouldn’t you be too?!

We are heading out today ourselves and so I will update later if I hear more or get any pics from Tim.
