Sounds like it may be a nerve wracking day on the water today for the final day’s fishing in the Jack Erskine Memorial Cairns Bluewater GFC Billfish Tournament. Capt. Kim Andersen’s New Moon came from behind yesterday tagging four fish to put them into the lead. Meanwhile steady steady Capt. Steve Ahler’s Hellraiser also added another two to the two fish on Day 1 to put them in second on countback (also on 4 tags). And Steve, multi talented that he is (or Sue is!?), also sent in these great pics from their Day 2 fish.  Pictured is angler Emily Griffen fighting in almost perfect conditions!

Day 1 leaders Bounty Hunter have slipped back to third but are still very much in the running, only one off the pace.
