Lots of fish and plenty of big ones around again yesterday.

I have a catch up report from Capt. Darren “Biggles” Haydon on Adventum with owner Kevin Hodgeson who have christened the boats first season in style wrapping up a 30 day trip yesterday. Biggs tells me they fished 28 days and caught 36 including the 1260lb-er reported early plus 5 other real good ones. 5 more in the mid range and the rest smaller fish!

Jan Patterson is on Matt Chang’s Sassamazen with Mustard, Peta and Tony going 0 from 3 Wednesday but more than made up for it with 4 from 4 yesterday at 900, 300, 200 and 150lbs.

Capt. Brett Goetze’s Amokura went 4 from 6 on smaller fish while Capt. Adam Jordan’s Iona II also went 3 from 7. On Capt. Luke Fallon’s KEKOA we didn’t have a great conversion rate ourselves only getting two from ‘several’ to the boat.

And Capt. Corey Hard’s Askari was in town yesterday on a day off but finished off the trip the day before with 8 in 6 days prior with no big ones but also 2 sailfish!
