Some more catch up reports coming in from the Cairns fleet.

Capt. Brett Goetze’s Amokura was into port overnight on changeover with Brett reporting they just finished up with Stephan Kreupl from Germany again trying to catch his grander black (to complete his grander marlin slam). Brett says although they never got the one he was looking for they still caught a couple nice fish at 800 & 900lb – a total of 6 fish for the trip.

Capt. Darren “Biggles” Haydon on Bounty Hunter released 6 fish to 450lbs on last trip but only 1 in last 4 days. Biggs says that the water is not great and no current on the edge but with conditions easing over the next few days, hopefully the opportunity to get out wide again for the fleet will bring on the fish!
