FNQ Juvie Blacks

Monday was a hot day’s fishing for Capt. Ross Finlayson’s Top Shot who went 8 from 10 on juvenile blacks which was a great day’s fishing for novice marlin clients Paul and Fiona. How glamour does the water look!

And Peter “Mutta” Mammino is still catching them off Lucinda after his win in their comp last month on Electrocution.  Mutta said he caught 3 from 5 in 4hrs of fishing yesterday. He dropped the kids at kindy, went fishing and was home in time to pick them up at 2:30. Pretty good day time routine if you ask me!  Brian Scott with one of his marlin below. Mutta also put him onto his first sail earlier in the day!

Fraser Island

Capt. Bobby Jones’ Merlin is back at Fraser with Lorraine in the chair and Capt. Ross McCubbin on deck and enjoying some glamour weather. Ross tells me they went 2-2-2 fishing up from Wide Bay Monday with blues at 250 and 400 lb. Yesterday from Waddy to Break Sea Spit followed up with a stripey at 70kg.
