Capt. Bobby Jones’ Merlin has been enjoying the winter fishing on the Gold Coast again with Lorraine in the chair and Capt. Ross McCubbin on deck.

Ross tells me they’ve had two great days on the water this week with Lorraine catching a 500lb plus blue marlin on Tuesday (that pulled him all over deck) and then followed up with a blue and a stripey yesterday and were looking for a black to complete the slam.

With just the three on board photos weren’t possible. But great to hear the Gold Coast still producing and good quality fish!
