It’s April and they are still catching the black marlin inshore on the Gold Coast! In numbers!

Capt. Ross McCubbin had Marcus Hogg and his 10 year son Murdock fishing with him on Thursday/Friday for 6 from 7 blacks in the 30-50 kg range.

Murdock accounted for 5 of them to go with his 100 kg stripey he got on December. Maybe a blue for him next school holidays! :-)

Capt. Glanville Heydenrych’s Mufasa likewise fish Friday morning for 2 from 2 before heading wide in search of a blue.  Glanville said there are still a few blues around but that there’s also plenty of current.
