It’s been a quiet last week or so from the Gold Coast but happily some reports are coming back through.

A couple of new charter boats on the Gold Coast have been getting into some early season action with Capt. Craig “Sparra” Denham at the wheel of the newly relocated Hot Shot releasing 1 from 2 blue marlin estimated at 275lbs on a spinning rod!  Both fish were pitch baits with great bites.

Likewise Glanville Heydenrych’s Mufasa Sport Fishing is likewise now operating and they had the day out Wednesday for  this fella. Glanville said they did an hour light tackle before going wide and the water looks amazing. A great coming-at-ya shot!

I saw that Chad Holmes on Addixion also went 3 from 5 yesterday so great to hear that there are a few more around!
