Word has reached me that Capt. Brent James on Mauna Kea is having one of those week – knocking it out of the park – he added another 4 fish for his guests yesterday 500, 500, 900 and 950! That’s just awesome fishing.

Overall though it seems like although a few fish caught in the rough (for a change), it was a quieter day overall?

Capt. Ross Finlayson’s Top Shot finished up his trip into Cooktown overnight with another three smaller fish. Capt. Simon Carosi’s Reel Chase also added two smaller models. While Capt. Luke Fallon’s KEKOA added the one fish for Brett (photo) and jumped off another big one.

Capt. Tom Francis also returned to the Ribbons on Ultimate Lady for a 600lb-er. And Capt. Darren “Biggles” Haydon’s Bounty Hunter also went one from two with a 200lb blue marlin!
