Calypso’s Capt. Tim Dean is enjoying some down time between Aussie marlin seasons by going marlin fishing of course!

Tim is in Hawaii and fished a day last week with Capt. Bryan Toney on Marlin Magic out of Kona for a nice blue marlin.  Tim says the fish was extremely long at 11 ft 6 inch short length but built like a hotdog (very long and skinny!!) coming in a 557lbs.  Murray “Muzz” Finlayson took some awesome footage of the bite and eventual ‘hand feed’ of the fish (7 or 8 goes at the lure?!) which you can see on the BMFB Facebook page here.
