On Wednesday night after the State of Origin Heath Irvine, Jay Graham, Shaun Battye and Lachlan Tuckwell headed to Fraser Island onboard Kamikaze (the 33foot O’Brien) from Sunshine Coast. On Day 1 they began with some heavy tackle fishing and got a little 50lb black on 50. After that they headed into the light tackle grounds and scored a sail in the afternoon ending up 2-2-2 for the day.

On Day 2 they got another 2 sails (including the one in the picture) plus a smaller black at 5kg and missed 5 finicky bites from blacks finishing up 10-5-5 on billfish for the trip.
