Weather weather go away! The weather caused a disruption the summer of fun this week. Among many weekend’s fishing plans ruined, the Lake Macquarie Big Fish Bonanza has been postponed. It will now be held this coming weekend on 9th and 10th of February.

Among the few that I heard fishing, Ben “Notso” Bright up in Weipa, getting back in the billfish swing before he leaves the north for a few weeks at Port Stephens.  Ben saw 6, had 5 bites and caught 3 sails, and has now answered his own question as to whether the sailfish fishing off Weipa is any good in February. That would be a yes!

Ben was fishing with Gaven Robert’s on his boat Striper. Stay tuned for photos in the morning.
