The Lake Macquarie tournament was held on the weekend gone and by all reports the fishing was hot. The winning boat caught 6 on Saturday and we hear that the Striped Marlin are there in good numbers, as are a number of large Blue Marlin. Blog regular Griffo and son were in the middle of the action with Lil’ Alex fighting a 200kg monster Blue to a successful end.
This shows a lot of promise for the upcoming season. We look forward to being in the thick of it!
