Using the (still!) bad weather to get a lot of line out, this is a small black estimated about 250lb was caught before lunch yesterday for Angler Andrew (not a great shot sorry!) A lot of other bites from small fish throwing the hook. Reel Chase stayed at Escape Reef and were joined by Sir Reel and Kekoa and their mothership The Boss overnight, who also caught a couple for the day.

Kanahoee caught one about 20 mile out from the reef. A few other boats also caught fish although it seemed to slow at the Bank. Capt. Jim believes it is also slow up at Lizard Island though only a few boats there.
