Lizard Island Black Marlin Classic Results:-  A total of 194 Black Marlin were tagged & released by the fleet in this year’s event.  Champion Boat and crew are TENACIOUS with a total of 14 Black Marlin tagged & released over the seven days of fishing.   Runner-up was ASSEGAI with 12 fish.  Keeping them honest were REEL CHASE and SEA BABY IV both with 11 Black Marlin all up.

Nov 5 Capt Dave on KANAHOEE managed to get 5 fish at #6 Ribbon.

In mid-late November THE CORAL IN THE REEF SPAWNED on the last two nights and that may have helped bring the fish back on the bite.    Out wide, Capt Tim Dean on CALYPSO tagged 6 marlin on the Sea Mount.
